Contrary to what some people would have you believe, getting rid of love handles is much easier than getting rid of tummy fat. In this article, I will tell you two easy and simple ways to help you get rid of love handles.

Basically, you need to do two things: 1. Change your diet; 2. Do regular exercises. I am not here to recommend any particularly diet plan. Most of the diet plans take away the viral nutrients such as carbs from your diet, leaving you exhausted. I firmly believe that if you eat a healthy diet and do regular cardio exercises, there is no way to prevent you from getting rid of love handles.

1, Eat Healthy: You should drink at least three liters of water per day, eat plenty and fruits and vegetables and reduce the intake of fried foods and cheese. You should also reduce the intake of sugar, or if possible, totally eliminate it from your diet. If you are fond of meat, you should eat lean meats of chicken only, and should eliminate red fatty meats from your diet.

If your weight is more than fifty pounds then you may need to follow the Atkins diet plan in the beginning. However, if you have already lost your weight and just want to get rid of the remaining 10-15 pounds of body fat that make up the love handles, the healthy diet I mentioned above should be good for you. Actually, you may be surprised to see that the love handles are the last things to leave your body even after years of exercise and diet planning. In fact, even if you lose your body fat, it may take a bit longer for you to get rid of love handles. So the best course of action will be to follow the general Atkins diet plan when you are too overweight; then when you lose all body fat except the love handles, you can follow the healthy diet plan I have mentioned above.

2. Both nutrition and exercise are necessary in order to get rid of love handles. For starters, you should do exercises like swimming and walking for at least 4-5 times per week. Along with this you will need to do basic calisthenics like pushups, bench dips, squats and lunges. Don't be frustrated if you don't see any immediate results. Because it may take a few weeks before you see the results of your hard work. If you follow this thorough and detailed plan, you will be able to get rid of love handles within weeks.
